Frequently Asked Questions
Controlled Substances are subject to Federal and State Regulations. We prescribed Controlled Substances in NJ, NY, WA, VA, VT. Current prescribing rules are in effect until December of 2026.
NJ, as of 2/2026, requires an in-person visit every 90 days. Please consider the location of the office for NJ clients.
Harmony & Unity Mental Health is currently open: Tuesday- Thursday from 9am to 7pm, and Fridays from 9-2 pm.
However, our Hours of Operation are flexible and do change based on the needs of our Provider and Clients.
We understand the importance of accommodating our clients' schedules, so we offer flexible scheduling when available.
New client appointments last up to 60 minutes, while follow-ups vary from 20 to 45 minutes based on need.
We offer flexible scheduling and typically book your follow up appointment at the conclusion of your current appointment.
Use our appointment portal to manage or request appointments, and receive appointment reminders (day before and day of) via email or text based on your preference.
At Harmony & Unity Mental Health, we require clients to maintain a valid credit card on file to cover any incurred expenses, including co-pays, deductibles, co-insurances, and outstanding balances. While we strive to accommodate all clients, please be aware that appointments may be canceled, and clients discharged from practice if there is an outstanding balance.

We encourage open communication regarding payment plans, which can be arranged the discretion of Harmony & Unity Mental Health. Co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurances are due on the day of your visit, and superbills are available upon request for insurance or reimbursement purposes.
We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to our payment policies as we work together to maintain financial harmony.
